Louis Vuitton became the most expensive luxury-brand
Cost of French brand Louis Vuitton is estimated in more than $21 billion. Well-known mark has appeared the most expensive in the rating of the companies, making luxury goods, and has reached the level of the largest world companies of national value.
The rating of the most expensive luxury-brands, made by company Interbrand, includes 15 companies, the majority of which are from France, Switzerland and Italy. So, after Louis Vuitton, which cost has made, by estimations Interbrand, 21,6 billion dollars, the Italian mark Gucci has taken the second position. Its cost has exceeded $8 billion. Closes three Chanel, estimated in $6,3 billion.
The only American company, mentioned in the list, - Tiffany&Co - costs $4,2 billion and it is on the 7th place (by the way specialists predict bankruptcy of the glorified jeweler company). It follows such companies as Rolex ($4,9 billion), Hermes ($4,5 billion) and Cartier ($4,2 billion). Prada and Ferrari, estimated in $3,5 billion, and also mark Bvlgari - $3.3 billion, are also in the first ten leaders.
Swiss watch brand Patek Philippe has appeared on 13th place, having capitalization in $1,1 billion. It shares following positions with Burberry ($3,2 billion), Dior ($2 billion), Zegna ($818 million) and Ferragamo ($722 million).
