Fall-Winter 2009-2010 by CHARI
Design mark Chari has been formed in 2008 by young designers by Maria Marnovaja (Russia) and Chris Kramer (USA). Maria lives and works in Petersburg, Chris - in New York. Designers perfectly supplement each other in their creative tandem, and it is easy to see communication in the name of mark, after all Chari is a combination of names Chris and Mari.
Collection Fall-Winter 09/10 is extremely laconic and smart, but at the same time it has been not deprived of non-standard details. Classical dresses are decorated with fragmentary grid, sometimes as addition - with pastes, pins, metal zippers. Dresses impress with the form and inspire feeling of confidence. Fall-Winter 09/10 is characterized with certain “asceticism” of color scale: primary colors and shades of this season are mostly grey, black and beige. CHARI supposes a combination of classics with elements of negligent street style: uncombed hair dress, high heels, loose jeans and stretched vests in combination with classical jackets.
